MVWDC
started as a training group in 1995. After 2 years of training a
dedicated core had been formed, from there discussions of becoming a
formal club had started. Worried about the commitment needed the now
president and vice-president started assigning responsibilities and
tasks. All members handled their responsibilities far beyond
expectations, acquiring fields, caring for equipment, supporting
other members and doing everything they can to learn what it takes
to become knowledgeable in the sport. We hold many seminars, trials
and always enjoy visitors to training. MVWDC has always been known
and will continue to be known for its hospitality, quality of dogs
and honesty in training. |
I wanted to thank you for terrific time I had Friday doing the the BH test with Quip. What a wonderfully hospitable and congenial bunch of people. I hope that some of your club members will be competing sometime in an obedience trial, agility trial, or tracking test with one of my clubs so I can repay the generosity and support.
You guys are terrific.

Congratulations to you and the club for putting on an excellent trial. Everyone was very helpful and really made an effort to accommodate all the trial entries. The judge was strict but fair and I saw a lot of good dogs. I only wish that that his critiques were louder so that we could hear his comments.

Dear MVWDC,
I wanted to write and thank you all very much for your hospitality and professionalism this past weekend. As you know, this was my very first Schutzhund competition and I was so thankful for everyone's support, encouragement and "words of wisdom!" You have a great club -- fantastic dogs, enthusiastic and friendly team members AND you run a very organized competition. FCI Judge Rinus Bastiaansen was patient and tremendously encouraging to "new competitors" like me. Hopefully you will have him back again as I would love to participate in a seminar with him. At any rate, I had a great time, learned a lot and I thank you again for all your help!
